Otherwise I could end up as the douchebag who’s got shitty taste in wine and totally traumatized you when you were thirty. You don’t realize how well written this story is wiling you flip the last page. He is built, yet moves with controlled purpose.

Book Review – Willing Victim by Cara McKenna
I look forward to more books from Mckennz McKenna. The smut scenes were hot! I liked Laurel, she was straight forward, subtle and submissive but independent, strong and spoke her mind when needed. The characters I didn’t get: They meet by accident and immediately Laurel is drawn to him. Albeit my husband might’ve had something to say about that????
Take me way down deep into the dark. She is offered to watch him and his partner.
There is so much potential here which the author decided not to explore and that’s a shame Overall a very good, erotic, hot read. Mar 12, Sarah rated it liked it Shelves: The author has decided to write a follow-up sequel!!
Willing Victim (Flynn and Laurel, #1) by Cara McKenna
So if willling want a quick hot read, go for it! This was definitely well written and I will probably check out what other stuff maybe full length books this author may have. View all 8 comments. You could feel the intense attraction between Flynn and Laurel from the very beginning even when Flynn was acting all “I don’t do relationships, I just fuck”. This book mcoenna consensual but intense rape role-playing scenes that some may find upsetting.
Her curiosity has been paid with how intense he is. It was still hot but after really enjoying the first book and than reading this one I’m like Ehhh mckennna error] Will definitely have to check out some of this author’s other work!
For a short story, I thought the author worked that in, really well. This scene takes place before Laurel and Wliling get together. I have more good things than bad to say, just wasn’t a huge hit with me. If you want a really hot read What I did like about Laurel was that she was bold enough to approach Flynn, pursue him and made it her mission to take care of him.

Other books in the series. Williny Fifty Shades of Grey on steroids, but with better writing skills and styles entwined. I didn’t particularly enjoy that scene, but I decided to view it as meaningless “release”, as opposed to what transpired between Flynn and Laurel.
In the end, Flynn makes Laurel push hard to convince him that they should get together. Things are the way they are, just because. The book is f cking good but too f cking short. Flynn is a chatty Cathy while somehow managing to stay the strong silent type as well, not sure how that happened so he’s made completely real to the reader despite the lack of his POV. About Me I am happily addicted to reading but I need to expend my book energy especially when one puts me in an emotional frenzy – SO fun! In addition to willinb impressed with his looks and his size she probably sensed his dominance and was drawn iwlling him.
But there is an actual storyline here as well – although it really wasn’t explored quite as deeply as it could have been. Small book, but big on feeling!
Want to Read saving…. I just love it and wasn’t enough.
