As one brother awaits his fate, another awaits his moment to seize power, while spies and assassins play out the ambitions and destinies of their masters. I haven’t quite finished it yet but it seems a little slower than the other books in the series.
I was also surprised to find out, when Zilver read the Historical Notes in the back, that some of the parts of this book that I scoffed at whilst reading it were actually based on facts.
