I knew that Scott Adams has long running hilarious Dilbert comic series. Disclamer here, I am one-although probably not of Dilbert’s caliber. I went into this knowing nothing about the corporate world not having had a desk job at a big dilert yet so it was pretty new to me.

The last chapter actually has some solid advice, followed by semi relat I went into this thinking that it was more serious – I have read Adams’ “Stick to Drawing Comics Monkey Brains” and in it we see that Scott is actually a pretty sucessful fella beyond cartooning. Want to Read saving…. It was one of the best reading discoveries. His writings is self-deprecating and self-lauding at times, which works well for his writing style. Adams is also dilbegt trained hypnotist, as well as a vegetarian.

Scott Adams’s writing is an example of sheer brilliance. The funniest chapter ever was the fourteenth chapter, the one talking about engineers. Having read this book, I can also confirm that he can write a long satire very well.

Though a book that was written in the early 90s, most of the things that this book refer to has not changed at all in my career in the s. Bought this at a yard sale for a buck.
