First get familiar with Gilksy’s youtube videos here: It’s very likely that they’ll be able to fix it, unless your GPU is completely fried, or your HDD is corrupted, but the chances of that happening is thankfully rather slim.
They weren’t able to save my ps3, possibly because the first place i took it to messed it up beyond repair, but gophermods has got to be the company i’ve dealt with in years. If you want a long-term repair with a lifetime warranty then look into rsolpc. Using a hoover on a vent doesn’t do one thing but clean whats off the vent itself! So i will regularly open her up now to give it a proper clean.

Buy a Heat Gun with adjustable temperature. What Hardrive should I buy for PS3? They fixed it, it cost me more than it would have to switch to a slim, but I got the better deal.

Keep me logged in on this device. The Motherboard was just as bad with almost mold like looking lumps of dust stuck to all the main chips and processors i had to take it outside and gently blow it gillksy off and then some of it would not move i had to use a soft brush being very gentle.
40GB YLoD self fix queries.
Sony can take the slims and the super slims and shove them up their asses. Sadly my 60gb only lasted a further two weeks so I gave up had backed up all saves by this point and had it replaced under CP.
I say any type of thermal paste because you only need a temorary fix, so top of the line or bottom of the barrel won’t make a damn bit of difference.
