A wonderful, lovely, heartfelt and funny read. This time this is the edition I read! Arabella gives fairly short shrift to many of the secondary characters, but one of them, Ulysses, is the cause of most of the best scenes in the book. Arabella was the first Heyer novel that I read and it did not disappoint!
I think Heyer did! Want to Read saving…. She is beautiful, charming and makes everybody fall in love with her even if all her suitors want arabellz marry her because of her supposed fortune.

So despite Arabella’s and her father’s Arabella is one geofgette the more charming and funny Georgette Heyer books that I’ve read, with a major plus in the form of one of my favorite Heyer book boyfriends, Beaumaris.
Arabella slowly awoke the next morning, groggy and confused for a moment of her surroundings. Overall, the novel sounds like a fun read.

He geodgette off as young, rather than stupid. Heyer was an intensely private person who remained a best selling author all her life without the aid of publicity. Arabella found the estate itself was very grand, but very humble at the same time with a vast array heger servants that helped each other out with everything. I espeically liked how she took the information about a season in London.
And naturally, there is an enterprising heroine and a dashing hero, who meet quite by chance and fall quite madly in love amidst a set of funny and delightful adventures.
Arabella never ceased to amaze him with her little ways of making his boring life interesting. Georgethe finds her likeable because she is so different from the other women he met before. Will they be nicely polished??
