And if you happen to fall in love… well, where Phury is will snap your heart in half. There are several new Chosen introduced as well, and a brief scene with them near the end had me laughing, which is something of a rarity for this dark series.

There was so much going on in the Brotherhood and in the Lessening Society that Phury had to share a lot of pages Amazon Renewed Refurbished products with a warranty.

Except for when his warrior instincts or male bonding instincts kick in, he is far more of a beta hero than any of the other members of the Brotherhood, which in my opinion made his position as Primale an apt place for him to be.

Ward is an efficient and stylish writer for her genre. Who knows, but as it is, I was most looking forward to reading absolutely everyone else in the book: I think that Phury is probably one of the most underrated brothers If this were a stand alone I wonder if there would have been as much interest in it.

Ward still writes well but plot wise I felt that she was all over the place. I was so excited when Phury’s book came out. It went so much that Phury started to get on my nerves too, along with the damn Wizard!

Before he was aware of what he was doing, Phury let out a growl that broke through the air like a crack of thunder. One thing is for certain, there was a serious problem with supposedly bad-ass vampires being little pansy-ass babies John is now becoming oh whine is me Phury.

This book is the one I like the least of all the books in this series and that’s because I really don’t care for Phury. But that’s a minor quibble.
